This logo was made for in-house use at the American Standard R&D department. Tours are frequently held and visitors are given promotional gifts. A logo was needed for these promotional items. The logo needed to convey the design and engineering aspects of that department. The final logo was chosen for its bold shape, which represents a technical contrast to the company's handwritten logotype.
